Linebacker Edmond Robinson, who last played for the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL, agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Falcons on Saturday, according to the team.
Robinson, who’s 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round (232nd overall) of the 2015 NFL draft.
Robinson, who played at Newberry, has also spent time with the Jets and Cardinals. He has played in 22 NFL games and made on start.
He’s the second player the Falcons signed from the XFL. They also signed former D.C. Defenders tight end Khari Lee.
