Atlanta United’s new secondary kit, a white-and-gold ensemble dubbed “King’s Kit,” was unveiled as a part of an MLS-wide fashion show on Wednesday in New York.
The top is white with gold lettering and trim. The shorts are white with gold trim. There are three gold stripes on the right shoulder for the logo of the manufacturer, Adidas.
As the team prepares for its fourth season in MLS, the new secondary kit will be third edition the team has worn. The first was a gray shirt with red trim and lettering, with red shorts, worn in 2017. Second was the “King Peach” kit, with a white top and shorts with peach trim, numbers and lettering, in 2018 and ‘19.
In its primary kit, in MLS regular season and playoff games, Atlanta United is 34-10-14. It is 24-18-7 in its secondary kit and 1-1-0 in its parley kit.
The new kit is on sale at the team store at Atlantic Station as well as online at mlsstore.com/kingskit. It will also be for sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The team on Thursday will also host a celebration from 2-10 p.m. at Terminus 330, located at 330 Marietta Street. The event is free.
